Relight Your Fire
“Too often we feel overwhelmed by the idea of pursuing a dream or saying out loud what we’d like to change in our life. As women, it can feel vain – greedy even – to put your hand up and say you’d like more… whether that’s simply asking for more support, more understanding or more out of life. Andrea wants to help people re-light their fire. To feel empowered, invigorated, strong and capable – but above all, not to feel invisible.
You can get a fire in your belly again, get fired up, be the girl on fire, no matter what age you are or what stage you’re at. Andrea knows what it’s like to lose your fire and she wants to help you find yours. One of the key aims in setting up her website ‘www.thisgirlisonfire.co.uk’ was to give women ways to make themselves feel good. Andrea is a big believer that if you know a way to help someone, you do it, you pass it on, and she wants to give you the confidence you need to make positive changes in your life.
They say that the definition of insanity is doing the same thing but expecting a different result. Let Andrea show you how to make the changes you need to see positive changes in your life."
“I’m fired up! Let me help you feel the same…”
ABOUT Andrea McLean
In two best-selling books Andrea has recounted the story of her life thus far; from being a young girl growing up in the Caribbean to navigating a successful 22-year career as a national television presenter, author and entrepreneur. In her first book, the Sunday Times Number One Best-Selling ‘Confessions of a Good Girl’, she describes the end of her first marriage and how, on the edge of a breakdown, she found herself juggling her demanding career with being a single parent. When her second marriage also fell apart - in the glare of the media spotlight - it seemed her life had really hit rock bottom. In her latest best-seller ‘Confessions of a Menopausal Woman: everything you want to know but are too afraid to ask’ Andrea details the physical aftershock of a hysterectomy, the psychological fallout of a difficult menopause, and the joy of finding love through despair. It was while writing her book that Andrea decided she wanted to help other women going through the crippling anxiety and loss of sense of ‘self’ that many women experience and launched her women’s website ‘This Girl Is On Fire’.
Life is full of personal and professional ups and downs, and Andrea has become an expert in picking herself up, dusting herself down, and starting all over again. Now approaching her mid-century, Andrea is as ‘on fire’ as ever, and is on a mission to help others feel the same! As a speaker, she is as candid and warm as she is on TV, and with her trademark humour she explains how we all have it in us to get that fire in our belly again, no matter what age or stage we are in our life.
