Charisma is usually treated as something you either have or you don’t, but the research shows it is a set of learnable behaviours. Drawing on her book How to Be Magnetic, psychology educator Francesca Tighinean teaches the two-factor model of charisma: affability (warmth and competence, vulnerability, conversational skill) and influence (projecting confidence, storytelling, body language and vocal delivery). Attendees leave knowing which of their own behaviours are working for them and what to change before their next conversation.
Francesca Tighinean is a psychology educator with over 3 million followers, host of The Francesca Psychology Podcast, and an upcoming Hay House author. She holds a BSc in Psychology from City, University of London, and her work has been featured in the New York Post, Daily Mail, and LADbible.
