Mind Body Spirit Festival appoints ‘Queen of Dreams’ Theresa Cheung and editor‑turned‑healer Alexandra Wilby to lead a new era of festival and event programming

Mind Body Spirit Festival, the UK’s longest-running festival of wellness and spirituality, has appointed ‘Queen of Dreams’, best selling author and one of the world's most spiritually influential people, Theresa Cheung and presenter and former HELLO! Deputy Editor Alexandra Wilby, a rising voice from the next generation of seekers, to spearhead a bold new chapter in its programming as the UK’s leading wellness and spirituality brand builds towards its 50th anniversary in 2027.

As MBS’s new Programming Team, Theresa and Alexandra will curate stages, speakers and content across the festival’s live events and growing digital platforms, bringing together leading voices and fresh ideas from across the wellness, spirituality and personal development worlds.

Approaching this milestone, Mind Body Spirit Festival is treating 50 not as a culmination, but as the start of something new – a reinvention that mirrors how many people are embracing midlife as a time of expansion, purpose and deeper self-discovery. At a time when headlines frequently highlight how women over 50 are being overlooked for “plum” roles, the team at Mind Body Spirit Festival is taking the opposite approach: by putting experienced midlife women like Theresa front and centre, and pairing her decades of expertise with Alexandra’s editorial, media and digital experience, the festival is making a clear statement that midlife is not a barrier to leadership – it’s an advantage, especially when it’s combined with the energy and perspective of the next generation.

Theresa, a go-to media spiritual expert both in the UK and overseas - is also one of the world’s leading voices on dreams, intuition and consciousness - steps into the role of Festival Programmer. With numerous bestsellers and a global readership, she brings deep expertise in modern spirituality and a passion for making the mystical practical and relatable – particularly for people navigating change, transition and new beginnings.

Alexandra, former Deputy Editor of HELLO! magazine, joins as Programming Consultant, building on her recent role hosting the Mind Body Spirit Festival, Olympia London. Now a sound healer and Reiki Master, she brings a unique blend of mainstream media experience and holistic practice, helping to bridge the worlds of lifestyle media and contemporary spirituality for audiences who are ready to rewrite their next chapter in midlife and beyond.

Together, Theresa and Alexandra embody a powerful blend of wisdom and fresh vision. Together they will shape a new era of Mind Body Spirit programming designed to speak to today’s wellness‑curious audiences – from first‑time festival‑goers to long‑time seekers and midlife reinventors looking for inspiring, nervous-system-friendly, real-life experiences that help them start again, at any age.

Theresa and Alexandra bring exactly the mix of credibility, curiosity and creative ambition MBS needs for its next chapter. They understand our community because they've lived it, and they know how to bring the right voices to our stages, events and platforms alike. As we build towards our 50th anniversary, I couldn't be more excited to have them shaping what MBS looks and feels like for our community.
