Session Details

Michelle will share a practical session for children and parents to practice mindfulness and tapping together. When we teach children mindfulness and tapping, we empower them with wellbeing tools and to recognize how their bodies feel.

You will explore mindful movement, simple breath awareness and understanding how different breathing techniques can help us. You will learn how to tap and different ways you can use tapping both as a parent and to support your child. In tapping we use our fingers to tap in a sequence on parts of our head, torso and hands whilst describing our feelings. When we tap, we send soothing signals to our brain which helps us to feel calmer and acknowledge what we feel.

Tapping and mindfulness can be great ways to co-regulate and improve mental health and wellbeing for children and parents.
