Session Details

Jagannatha Das will close the day with an uplifting session of mantra music and kirtan, bringing everyone together through rhythm, melody and collective signing. Using traditional mantras in an accessible, contemporary setting, he will guide participants through and interactive and shared musical experience designed to encourage connection, reflection and joyful participation. No previous experience of kirtan or mantra is needed...simply come, listen, sing (maybe dance) and be part of the atmosphere.

Presenter Biography

Jagannatha Das is a kirtan leader and multi-instrumentalist with over twenty years of experience sharing mantra meditation through music. Rooted in the bhakti tradition, he creates warm, participatory experiences that move between stillness, uplifting energy and collective singing, helping people feel more present, energised and connected with themselves, one another and a deeper sense of meaning.

His practice was further shaped by completing a round-the-world journey with his spiritual teacher, learning through close association and service while sharing kirtan with communities along the way. Alongside his kirtan work, Jagannatha is a Senior Project Manager on one of the UK’s largest and most complex construction and infrastructure programmes which gives him a grounded understanding of leadership, responsibility and the pressures of modern working life.

He has shared kirtan at festivals, universities, corporate organisations, churches and spiritual and community spaces across the UK and beyond. These include the World Yoga Festival, the OM Yoga Show, Oxford and Cambridge universities, KPMG, HSBC, Balfour Beatty, Worcester Cathedral and recently ITV News and regional press.
