TV’S FAVOURITE THERAPISTS THE SPEAKMANS AND CALL THE MIDWIFE STAR HELEN GEORGE TO HEADLINE MIND BODY SPIRIT FESTIVAL

From ITV’s This Morning to the hit Mystic Mates podcast, familiar faces are bringing conversations about mindset, wellbeing and spirituality to Birmingham NEC this November

“We pulled a tarot card … and here we are.” It’s the tagline of Mystic Mates, the hugely popular spirituality podcast co-hosted by Call the Midwife star Helen George, who joins ITV’s This Morning stars Nick and Eva Speakman at this year’s Mind Body Spirit Festival.Taking place at Birmingham NEC from 13 to 15 November, the festival brings together leading voices from television, podcasting, psychology, holistic wellbeing and spirituality. Paul McKenna, former X Factor finalist Matreya, and BBC Breakfast doctor Helen Wall are among the other household names and leading experts appearing across and lighting up the weekend.

Helen George, best known for playing Trixie Franklin in Call the Midwife, will appear on the Main Stage on Sunday 15 November. Away from acting, her Mystic Mates podcast explores intuition, spirituality and life’s bigger questions, bringing humour and an open-minded approach to subjects that are increasingly part of everyday conversation. On Saturday 14 November, Nick and Eva Speakman will take to the Main Stage. Much loved for their engaging television appearances; the therapists are known for helping people tackle fears and change the thought patterns that hold them back. They will also offer book signings, giving visitors the chance to meet them in person

Joshua Roberts, Managing Director of Mind Body Spirit Festival, said: “Spirituality is no longer on the fringes. From podcasts to prime-time television, people are talking openly about the power of the mind, finding deeper meaning and how they want to choose to live. Our festival proudly brings these conversations to life, face to face.”

Festival programmer Theresa Cheung, also ITV This Morning’s dreams and spiritual expert, added: “The festival is all about learning, inspiration and connection. In a world where so much of our interaction happens online, I believe there is real value in coming together in person. Whether you come to hear from an expert, try something new or deepen your understanding of holistic wellbeing, there is so much of value to take away from spending time here.”

The festival opens on Friday 13 November, with three spellbinding days of talks, the Wellbeing Market, meditation, energy healing, Tarot, astrology, sound healing and a packed programme spanning holistic health, personal development and spirituality. From thought provoking presentations and practical wellbeing experiences to inspiring speakers and a vibrant marketplace, Mind Body Spirit Festival invites visitors to immerse themselves in new perspectives, connect with like-minded people and find inspiration and precious wisdom they can carry away with them into their everyday life.

Three days to learn, feel inspired and experience the very best of mind, body and spirit, all under one roof.
