This class is suitable for all levels from beginners to advanced practitioners, and this session will see one pose flows into the next in sequence linking movement to breath. The benefits of this dynamic practice include improved strength, balance, and flexibility. The class will weave restorative variations to further encourage a balance between strengthening and softening.
Variations will be given so you can challenge yourself or take it easy, depending on how you feel. This class begins with breathing techniques and includes meditation exercises to help people connect physically, spiritually and emotionally.
Paska was introduced to Yoga in 2014 while studying in Nairobi. After completing her first two yoga teacher training with Africa Yoga Project and Karuna Yoga Journey, she found herself teaching in Lamu and learnt more about Kanga Yoga. The essence of the practice resonated so strongly with Paska that she graduated from the teacher training course offered by Kanga Yoga and is now a full-time teacher. A core team member, Paska is on the creative and management team for Kanga Studio Nairobi.
The Kanga Studio team is a highly trained, multidisciplinary team made of passionate, authentic and experienced teachers.
