Mind Body Spirit Presenter Lee Harris shares his forecast on the current transformational energies of the planet and how to make best use of them.
The current energies present a great opportunity to free yourself from negativity. It’s not always something we love to do. It’s not always the most joyous or sexy area we can walk towards. But actually, freeing ourselves from negativity is part and parcel of what we are here to do on Earth. Because as we free ourselves from negativity, we change the frequency of what we are putting out into the world. And we also change the frequency of what we are magnetizing and attracting.
It’s a process
I know that certain teachings will have you believe that positivity is something that you can instantly click “on” and it will maintain. And while it is very easy to click “on,” it’s not always easy to maintain at a deep, integrated level. That’s where practice takes place.
1. Identify your struggle
If you feel like you’re struggling, it’s an opportunity to change the way you identify with the word or the pattern known as “struggle.” For example, you might find yourself having a hard week and your pattern brain might replay the same negative sentences, negative thoughts, and negative ideas that you would have had about that hard week in the past … two years ago, three years ago, four years ago. But what you will notice now is more of a separation between the thoughts in your mind and the feelings in your body.
2. Check in with your body
This is the moment to ask: Are my thoughts (and what they are telling me) actually matching the body state? Because for most of you, a lot of the time you will notice that they aren’t matching. For example, you might be running a thought of “Oh God, everything is going wrong, and I’m really depressed about that!” but if you actually check your body, you will go, “Oh, my body is kind of okay. I don’t feel all heavy and sad and full of grief, like I usually do when I’m depressed.” You’ll be able to see that your mind is telling you a slightly negative story from the past, that your body isn’t telling. This is simply a mental habit.
3. Make the change
This is your magic opportunity to adjust these negative stories. If the story your mind is telling you doesn’t match how your body is feeling, then what is really going on? These negative patterns are powerful and automatic. For example, if you have been trying to manifest a loving relationship and that’s taking more time than you thought, the negative story around not being loveable, not being able to have relationship, and that being a terrible thing may become automatic. But if when you think about this issue, your body is okay, it’s worth realising that the story is no longer true in reality. It’s just a pattern of thinking, so don’t buy into it or believe it. It’s time to let yourself let the relationship come to you and to know it will, at the right time! You feel fine right now and have a desire to bring something wonderful into your life – and that is a positive thing!
So practice observing yourself moving between negativity and positivity - between those two polarities. They both exist on the Earth, so we need not be afraid of either of them. They go hand-in-hand; they have a relationship with each other. And we are presently at a time where more positive thoughts and energies are needed for our consciousness, for our planet, for the whole human race.
The light that you yourself can find within you and grow, nurture and emit, is a crucial part of what we are seeing taking place on Earth right now in this consciousness shift. Making that consciousness shift inside yourself is your starring role in making the planet change. It really does come down to you and your consciousness.
